CHILD SUPPORT AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT is made on [Date],
BETWEEN:

AND
[Parent 2 Name], residing at [Parent 2 Address] ("Parent 2").
WHEREAS

The parties are the parents or legal guardians of the following child(ren):

The parties wish to set out their agreement regarding child support arrangements for the benefit of the child(ren).
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants contained herein, the parties agree as follows:
1. DEFINITIONS
1.1. "Child(ren)" refers to the minor child(ren) named above, and any other child(ren) of the parties as specified in this Agreement.
1.2. "Paying Parent" refers to the parent responsible for making child support payments, as identified in this Agreement.
1.3. "Receiving Parent" refers to the parent receiving child support payments under this Agreement.
2. CHILD SUPPORT PAYMENTS
2.1. The Paying Parent, [Parent 1 Name/Parent 2 Name], shall pay child support to the Receiving Parent, [Parent 1 Name/Parent 2 Name], for the benefit of the Child(ren).
2.2. The amount of child support shall be [Amount] per [week/month], payable on or before the [day] of each [week/month], beginning on [Start Date].

3. DURATION OF PAYMENTS

6. TAX MATTERS
6.1. The parties acknowledge and agree to comply with all relevant tax laws regarding the claiming of the Child(ren) as dependents and the deductibility or taxability of child support payments.
7. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
7.1. In the event of a dispute arising from or relating to this Agreement, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through discussion.
7.2. If the dispute cannot be resolved, the parties may seek mediation or apply to a court of competent jurisdiction.
8. GENERAL PROVISIONS
8.1. Entire Agreement: This Agreement contains the entire understanding between the parties relating to child support and supersedes all previous agreements, whether written or oral.
8.2. Severability: If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
8.3. Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Governing Law State/Country].
