SIMPLE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT (HOME RENOVATION)
THIS AGREEMENT is made on [Date],
BETWEEN:
[Homeowner Name], residing at [Homeowner Address] (“Homeowner”);
AND
[Contractor Name], whose principal place of business is at [Contractor Address] (“Contractor”).
BACKGROUND
WHEREAS, the Homeowner desires to have certain renovation work performed at the property located at [Renovation Property Address];
AND WHEREAS, the Contractor agrees to perform such renovation work under the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants herein, the parties agree as follows:
1. SCOPE OF WORK
1.1 The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the renovation work as described in Schedule A: Scope of Work attached to this Agreement.
1.2 Any changes to the Scope of Work must be agreed to in writing by both parties.
2. CONTRACT PRICE AND PAYMENT TERMS
2.1 The total contract price for the work shall be [Contract Price] ([Currency]).
2.2 Payment shall be made as follows:
- [Deposit Amount] upon signing this Agreement;
- [Progress Payment Amounts and Milestones, e.g., 40% upon completion of demolition, 30% upon completion of framing, etc.];

6. INSURANCE

10. GOVERNING LAW
